One of the offices I am working in at the moment has just moved to a new location, and it has definitely been of benefit. We designed it ourselves, so there is no other person to blame for the defects. We all got welcome packs, with a whole bunch of useless shit we may never use. There was one thing though, which I actually do use.

It's called a Keep Cup.

They are a part of the green office initiative, and they are so good. The idea is that you bring this cup around with you, made of a strange material called polypropylene, and give it to the barista at a coffee shop every time you go. It is made in standard sizes that are used in Australia, so their money making is not scutinised, and it saves the need to squander coffee cups all round.

I got mine for free, but they usually cost 12 dollars.

  1. they're crap! you can't drink tea from them without the tea tasting like plastic. and they can be leaky. even long blacks taste horrible (as you know- my preferred kind of coffee). But for those of you enjoying beverages of a milky variety, it should do just fine :)

  2. My tea doesn't taste like plastic out of them, nor have I heard anyone else in the office complain of it...
